Kirstie Swain, screenwriter and Screen Academy Scotland alumna, is interviewed by MA Screenwriting Programme Leader James Mavor about her experience on the PG Cert (online) Screenwriting course and her subsequent writing career. Kirstie won the Frank Deasy Award in 2013 and is currently BBC Scotland's Writer in Residence. She has written for Holby City, Eastenders and Doctors and has original projects in development with Shed, Company Pictures and BBC Scotland. She is represented by MacFarlane Chard.
