This pioneering online screenwriting consultancy service allows screenwriters to develop a feature film script from initial idea to third draft screenplay, over the period of 10 months, benefiting from comprehensive one to one feedback, 12 hours of development in terms of feedback, discussion and notes via Skype meetings, and 10 practical and extensive online lessons covering the essential areas of the craft needed to write a screenplay in any genre.

The Tutor
Brian McGill has been a professional scriptwriter for twenty five years and has written for several television series, including Taggart (Scottish Television) and Call Red (Granada) as well as the feature film La Guerre Des Moutons.  He presently teaches film writing at Screen Academy Scotland, at Örebro University, Sweden, and at Berghs School of Communication, Sweden, and currently acts as an online script tutor on ENGAGE.

Who’s it for?
Entry level, intermediate or experienced writers with:

• an idea to develop,
• a broadband connection
• a basic understanding of how to use Skype (although technical support is available for those screenwriters new to Skype and VLE learning).

We ask that all participants submit a current CV with the completed booking form. There is no formal application process for Online Script Development however your CV will give the tutor a better idea of where you are in your career.
