A 2 day intensive hands-on training workshop on HDSLR cinematography with Cinematographer David Liddell, using Canon 5D Mark II cameras (4 Canon 5Ds available to course participants) You will learn an overview of HDSLR cameras and lenses, what kit and accessories are available for filmmaking, how to record clean audio, and the Final Cut Pro workflow from shoot to output.
Tutor
David Liddell is an award winning Cinematographer and graduate of the NFTS Cinematography MA. His undergraduate film Hikikomori was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Short Film and won Best Cinematography Award at Scottish Students on Screen. David has recently shot two documentaries for the 2014 Commonwealth Games (filming in Glasgow, Scotland and Nyharuhuru, Kenya) being screened internationally and nationwide on the BBC Big-Screens.
