Allanah came to the MA Screenwriting by way of a Film & Media degree at the University of Stirling and the Writers Factory Introduction to Screenwriting evening class. Initially looking to pursue a career in drama development, it was a chance work experience placement at Maverick TV that gave her a taste of factual TV development and soon she was hooked on the characters and narratives of the real world. Allanah has worked for several leading production companies in development roles and is now a development producer at STV productions.
