Screen Academy graduate Ruth Paxton's experimental short film Baroque will be screening at the 9th London Short Film Festival this month. The film has also been nominated for the Best New Short Award (supported by The British Film Council Film Dept.)

Baroque is a contemporary interpretation of the art of Baroque, inspired by Italian painters of the period – a cinematic study of beauty stimulated by the strong subliminal impression and underlying contexts within the source material.

Baroque will screen as part of the Leftfield and Luscious  programme taking place on Sunday the 8th of January at 14.00 at the ICA, London.
