ENGAGE, the training and development initiative for writers, directors and producers led by Screen Academy Scotland in association with the National Film School at IADT, Ireland, the Baltic Film and Media School and the Institute of Art and Design Helsinki has been granted MEDIA funding for a fourth year running.

MFA Film Directing graduate Patricia Delso Lucas’s documentary  Just to call you Dad was recently screened at  MEDIMED Mediterranean Documentary Market 2010 which took place in Sitges, Catalunya, Spain from 8th - 10th Oct.

MFA Film Directing graduate Amy Rose's “Bridging the Gap” film Twinset has just been selected for the Sheffield Doc Festival. Sheffield Doc Festival takes place from Nov 3rd - 7th. Congratulations Amy!

In September MA Screenwriting graduate Alistair Rutherford's science fiction screenplay, Backflip, was one of two outright winners of the Wildsound Feature Screenplay Contest which was chosen from over 350 entries.

MFA graduate Eva Pervolovici has received development funding for Ileana her film project being developed on Engage the MEDIA-funded training initiative for writers, directors and producers to develop european co-production which is run by Screen Academy Scotland.

Screen Academy Scotland MFA graduate Simon Arthur has just completed his first feature film. Filmed in New York, “Silver Tongues” follows a couple who drive across America, using their talent for acting to wreak havoc and ruin the lives of people in their path. But each manipulation and false persona begins to take its toll.
MFA Advanced Film Practice graduate Eva Pervolovici's project Little Red which was shortlisted for the Berlin Today Award in May has started shooting.
